NOTICE: Nominations & Election Schedule

Our Nominations Committee has set a schedule for the nominations and elections for MNA-UMPNC Delegates for the MNA House of Delegates. We have 60 delegate positions available for our bargaining unit and multiple alternate positions to fill. Please see the below timeline for important upcoming dates and deadlines.

• If you wish to appear on the ballot for MNA-UMPNC Delegate, you must complete and submit a Biography and Consent form by Friday, May 12, 2023. Per our bylaws, only MNA-UMPNC members may be nominated for and hold elected positions.

• In accordance with our local bylaws, nominations for delegate positions will also be taken “from the floor,” during General Membership Meetings. These meetings will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023. 

• Ballots will be sent electronically through a third-party vendor. Elections will be open from 12:00 AM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 to 11:59 PM on Wednesday, May 24, 2023. Election results will be posted on Monday, May 29, 2023.

The House of Delegates is the governing and official voting body of MNA. It is composed of the MNA Board of Directors and elected accredited delegates from MNA Local Bargaining Units. The House of Delegates is accountable to the membership and meets annually. The next House of Delegates will be held on September 29th and 30th, 2023 at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo.
